Quick Guide to UK Student Visa Application

Application & Offer:
Research UK universities and courses, apply directly or via UCAS. After applying, you’ll receive either a conditional or unconditional offer. Request a CAS from your university once you get an unconditional offer.

Visa Requirements & Application:
Ensure you meet basic requirements: valid passport, proof of financial support, English proficiency (e.g., IELTS), and TB test (if needed). Complete the Tier 4 visa application, submit necessary documents (CAS, passport, finances), and pay the visa fee and Health Surcharge.

Biometrics, Interview & Waiting:
Attend a Visa Application Center (VAC) for biometrics (fingerprints/photos). Some may require an interview. Processing takes 3-8 weeks.

Arrival & Post-Arrival:
If approved, you’ll receive a visa vignette for entry. Upon arrival, collect your BRP within 10 days. Complete university registration and show documents at the UK border.
